Codeine is absolute garbage for severe pain. It is the weakest opioid out there. It’s only useful for mild to moderate pain- not even moderate actually.

In Australia we call this Panadine Forte it contains 500mg of Paracetamol and 60mg of codeine well if you take to pills its 60mg 1 pill is 30, but it says to take 1-2. Does anyone know if this is a good pill to take for a bad hangover?? and is it similar to vicodin?

Bugattifan i am pretty sure even someone with no opiate tolerance would not be able to od on codeine. It is impossible because of the 450mg ceiling effect. but dont go downing your whole bottle of t3’s yet kids. because the acetaminophen will kill you.

A lot of people think that it isn’t as addictive as stronger opioids like heroin, morphine, and hydromorphone, but it is. Be careful with codeine, and just because it’s harder to O.D. on doesn’t mean it isn’t as addictive.
