How do police narcotics relates to the major: Psychology?

I would like to know how does major in Psychology can be related to police Narcotics Division? If anything connects, what part of Psychology would it be?

in psychology you may learn about drug addiction and the behavioural psychology of crackheads.

you can mentor them etc
