I actually DO suffer from chronic back pain and it gets so bad I have to go to ER, and they never find anything wrong! But, I always get a prescription for vicoden from them. Doctors deal with drug addicts on a daily basis, and they know when they are being faked out by a druggie who just wants a fix. There is nothing you can tell them that is going to make them give you narcotics.

They don't give it for mildly painful conditions. You would need an abscessed tooth, some type of surgery, breaking an ankle......don't expect to stub a toe, cry and expect Vicodin. lol not gonna happen. Pain is reflected in things like blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood panels.
