What symptoms do u have to have in order for your doctor to prescribe u narcotic painkillers?

Like what can u tell your doctor that will make him prescribe u narcotic painkillers like vicodin

you can tell him anything you want, but if his examination doesn’t verify what you are saying, he isn’t going to give them to you. Pain is reflected in things like blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood panels. You can’t fake those kiddo.

You would need to be in legit pain and a lot of it. They don’t give it for mildly painful conditions. You would need an abscessed tooth, some type of surgery, breaking an ankle……don’t expect to stub a toe, cry and expect Vicodin. lol not gonna happen. Many docs don’t even like giving it.

Wow. You people will stop at nothing to get your fix, eh??

You need to be in real pain. Might I suggest you go burn yourself, break some bones, or otherwise perform some mayhem on yourself?? Last time I got an Rx for vicodin, I broke my collar bone racing a motorcycle…time before that, it was broken ribs…

Doctors deal with drug addicts on a daily basis, and they know when they are being faked out by a druggie who just wants a fix. There is nothing you can tell them that is going to make them give you narcotics.

    legitimate ones with objective evidence.

We are well aware of people trying to scam us for narcotics and you will be labeled as a drug seeker. There isn’t a story I haven’t heard, or an injury I haven’t seen faked.
    Don’t waste my time.

Tell them you have pain in your low back. I actually DO suffer from chronic back pain and it gets so bad I have to go to ER, and they never find anything wrong! But, I always get a prescription for vicoden from them. So, since theres nothing wrong with you, they wont find anything wrong with you either. Gotta act a little, though….
