What is a non-narcotic way to fall asleep?
I have to work in the morning, but I can’t fall asleep. Is there are "home remedy" or something I can do to fall asleep?
put lavender or something with a really nice calming smell next to ur pillow, this relaxes you, or hace some warm milk like on the movies hehe

lay on your back with your hand on your stomach, listen to some really boring (or beautiful– depending on how you feel about classical) music and stare at the ceiling. You’ll be asleep in no time.

Run around for a while until you get tired take a long hot bath and by then you should be so tired that u struggle to keep your eyes open.

count sheep…. Na Just make sure your room dark and you could put some lavender in your room, apparently they use it with babies to help them sleep, good luck

I was always taught that a cup of warm milk helps a person get sleepy. It certainly helps me! That’s what moms will give to help babies fall asleep. Also, if you like tea, some uncaffeinated tea with a bit of honey and mint in it might help (no sugar tho).
Also, if you have any turkey, it has sedative-like chemicals in it and that will definately help!
Lastly, what helps the best for me is, and this sounds weird, but I can be quite the insomniac and it helps me a lot of nights, is to have this imaginary exotic (or I guess it could be more realistic) fantasy place where everything in the world is going wonderful. Just to daydream about a peaceful, non-stressful, overly-happy lifestyle helps me sometimes!

Try to start relaxing at your toes, and slowly work your way up to your knees, then your thighs, hips, stomach, shoulders, lower arms, hands, neck, and then your head. When you are relaxed, see yourself, waiting for an elevator, and once it arrives, get in, and see it going down 20 floors, as you go down each floor, feel yourself, getting more and more relaxed. when you get to the bottom, you should be in a highly relaxed state of mind, and ready to fall asleep. If this dose not work. I see myself, stuck out in the cold and pouring rain with no where to go. When a friend from high school comes to my aid, and offers me a safe place to get dry, and warm, as well as rest my head and sleep. This almost always works for me.

I have the same problem as I work until 2300 and usually have to be up for 0800.
The only thing that really works for me is to avoid caffeine after 1400. That’s no tea, coffee, coke, energy drinks / pills, etc.
Not great for me as I often need the extra buzz at work as there’s so much to do, but, if you can, this might help.
Also, if you do have a late night, try no to lie in the next day.
Try to set yourself some rules for when you get home, like no PC and no XBOX (that’s what I have to do lol).

Well I was watching some Science TV show and they said that is you can’t fall asleep you can eat a Sandwich with Turkey, lettuce and butter and have a glass of warm milk with honey it will help you get to sleep. The Turkey releases some stuff in your brain and the lettuce helps it get released. Also the honey and warm milk does something else. Although I haven’t tried it I think it would work, if it does then please let me know.

My used most remedy is to have best sex with my partner before sleep im not joking its true , you can refer to any medicine book it says good sex releases hormones which cause a person sleep well.
