How many days after getting a narcotic filled can you get the 1 refil?
i was given a codeine cough surup with 1 refill, today is the fourth day and i have no more left. Dont you have to wait a certain number of days before they can fill it again? is it 5 days?
it depends on how your doctor wrote the RX when you can get your refill. If he wrote for let’s say 120 ml, and you take 1 teaspoon (5 ml) every 4-6 hours, that is 30 ml per day you should be using. So the pharmacy would have entered your supply as 4 days worth, so you could get it on day 5.

are you good at math? Ok simple! you take the recommended dosage say 1 oz every 4-6 hours. so you take 1 oz every 4 hours so you use about 4 oz a day! Figure out how much the max you can use a day and divide that by how much you had and you will figure how long they intended on it lasting you! I only do this with hyrdocodone because they never last me the amount of time they are supposed to cuz they make me feeel sooo goooood

The best idea is to check with your local pharmacy. People on this board are not qualified to tell you what the amount of, or when you should get your next refill.
