im gonna abuse it, i just know i am. i have no self control. but i cantttt, i really cant afford to get in any drug trouble right now. what can i do to stop myself from abusing these medications?
its actually not pain meds.
i’ve got bronchitis & pneumonia
i was put on some type of medication for it
and they contain narcotics
i cant just toss it.
um actually, the doctor told me AND my father straight to our faces that the medicine contained narcotics, so you can SHUT THE HELL UP.

I have chronic Pneumonia and A lot of the medication have Narcotics in it to get rid of the symptoms faster. What is the name of the medication. People Dont know wtf they’re talking about…dont get upset. If you feel your getting addicted to it, have your doctor change it. Call the office, tell them you need the doctor to call you back ASAP you have a problem with your medication. The only thing is, if you tell them your starting to have addictions to it, the insurance may not cover you anymore. Just tell your Dr. You feel the need to have it more than prescribed. I am taking Ultram (narcotic) and it did the same thign to me. It took my pain away, and I felt so good, I took more than prescribed and I felt better…Dont let it happen…I did it alot and then I stopped my self.
IF its LEVAQUIN GET RID OF IT INSTANTLY! There have been so many lawsuits against it because it harmed so many people and most doctors give it anyways. They’e supposed to be taking it off shelves.

Obviously you are referring to some type of pain med and the obvious answer is to toss it.

Respiratory infections, such as you have, are NOT treated with narcotics.
They are treated with antibiotics, usually one of the penicillin family type of drug. You can’t "abuse " them, and the worst that you could do is not take ALL of them, as ordered. The usual course of treatment is 10 days of oral antibiotics , taken 3 times a day.
You need to learn how to do a Google search, and educate your self about what you are ingesting.
