The way in which Kava kava Affects My Dreams

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

I sip kava kava every Friday evening, when you finish a week’s worth training high schoolers. Typically on Fridays, the occurrences associated with the weeks time cycle continuously yet pointlessly through my brain. Kava’s soothing attributes let me stop this particular cycle, and concentrate on whatever I like. Best of all may be the way kava impacts my dreams. On kava nights, my dreams include long, epic voyages through blue-green seas, filled by unusual, friendly water animals. Like last evening – my journey and conversation partner was a manatee with violet eyes. This is more like the dreams I remember experiencing as a child, and a complete departure from my common stress-induced dreams regarding grading papers, running out of chalk, etc.
